Senior Associate

Sonia trained at McMillan Williams Solicitors (now Taylor Rose) and qualified as a Solicitor in 2014. In 2018, she moved to the South West and joined Thompsons Solicitors in Bristol before being promoted to a Senior Solicitor in 2019. In February 2024, Sonia rejoined the Clinical Negligence team at Taylor Rose as a Senior Associate for their South West region.

Sonia has acted on a variety of cases involving surgical errors, delays in diagnosis of spinal fractures, cancers and strokes including succeeding in a stroke case at Trial. She was involved in a number of rectal prolapse (laparoscopic ventral mesh rectopexy) cases involving complex colorectal causation issues. She also has years of experience handling and being involved in high-value birth injury cases.

Sonia has an interest in fatal claims including representation at inquests for families.

Sonia has been a trustee for a Bristol based charity, Cerebral Palsy Plus, since 2018 acting as their Company Secretary before being elected as Chair in 2024. She is also a mum to a young family, a keen cook and enjoys video games when time allows.
