Career

Bun Youdy is one of three founding partners of Bun & Associates.

For over two decades, he has advised on transactions, high-profile disputes and legislative drafting.

Youdy was formerly the Secretary‐General of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia. With an established reputation as one of the country’s leading disputes lawyers, he was instrumental in establishing the National Commercial Arbitration Centre of Cambodia (NCAC). He recently completed his mandate as the centre’s President. Youdy is also the immediate past Secretary-General of the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia.

Youdy is regularly instructed by domestic and multinational organisations, governments and transnational organisations. He advises these and other clients on disputes, financings, projects and general corporate and commercial transactions. His knowledge of the economic and regulatory environment in Cambodia draws on his experience working with all stakeholders to attract foreign and domestic investment. This includes his leadership role in creating a reputable dispute resolution mechanism.

Youdy is fluent in Khmer, English and French.
