Jessie’s expertise and forte lies in the field of intellectual property as well as in general commercial and corporate law, with a special focus on the application of these laws to the entertainment, arts and media industries and environmental law. Having almost a decade of experience in advising clients in the media entertainment industry and having been involved as a committee member/ advisor for various associations/ projects, Jessie’s track record speaks for itself. She has drafted and advised on contracts for clients from various industries including the media, telecommunications, internet, pharmaceutical, food & beverage and fashion sectors.  Part of her practice also includes advising on the establishment of joint ventures and the sale and purchases of companies and businesses, both locally and overseas. Jessie also handles trade mark and copyright registration matters for clients, she has also advised clients on intellectual property rights and arrangements for their acquisition and/or exploitation including strategic partnership established to create intellectual property.  She has advised Malaysian and Foreign MNCs on strategies for licensing, branding and global protection.
