Mr. Gu’s practicing areas are cross border acquisitions, PE&VC, FDI and JV, healthcare and life science, real estate, and general corporate. In the area of mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Gu represented Takata, DHL, Continental, Eurazeo, LaSalle, Farfetch, Bank of China Investment Group, UOL, Park Place Real Estate, Shanghai Pharma, and etc. on their global or cross border equity and assets transfer deals. In the area of PE&VC, Mr. Gu not only represented industry investors on their strategic investment projects, but also assisted various investment funds in their equity investment deals, including 5Y Capital, Matrix, Eli Lilly Asia Fund, Shanghai Healthcare Industry Investment Fund, FountainVest Partners, Forebright Capital, Navi Capital, Starcrest Fund, GP Capital, and etc.

Mr. Gu has rich experiences in the sector of healthcare and life science, in recent years, he delivered many acquisition and investment transactions, license-in and license-out deals, and large-scale marketing and distribution collaboration projects in this sector. Mr. Gu is also specialized in real estate acquisition and investment, and has represented many investment funds or multinational companies in their commercial and logistic real estate acquisition projects.

Prior to his joining AnJie as a partner, Mr. Gu had served with the other two top-level PRC law firms for a long time, and acted as an Of Counsel in one of them.
