Career

Peter joined from Lovells where he trained and then worked in the banking group. He is one of eight partners in the Finance Group at Walker Morris and specialises in banking and financing transactions including acquisition / leveraged finance, trade finance, bank-led restructurings and general corporate banking (both syndicated and bilateral, secured and unsecured). He has particular expertise in syndicated, complex and cross-border financings, investment fund finance and the financing of management buyouts.

Prior to joining Walker Morris, Peter spent two years on secondment to Lovells’ Amsterdam office, helping to set up a finance law unit following Lovells’ merger with a leading independent Dutch firm, and a further period on secondment to the London branch of a leading international bank, advising on all lending and business banking matters.

Known as “The Eagle” by a number of clients, the Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession describes him as “unflappable”…

On a slightly more serious note, the Legal 500 Guide to the Legal Profession describes him as a “standout lawyer” and the Chambers Guide comments, “Peter Considine stands out for his commerciality, with interviewees describing him as an incredibly talented lawyer, who is both technically and commercially very strong.”
