Position

Abraham Chan SC’s practice spans commercial, constitutional and administrative law litigation. He regularly advises and acts as advocate in a wide range of complex, high-impact disputes for individuals and institutions at all levels of court in Hong Kong.

Much of Abraham’s advocacy in silk has been at the appellate level, where he is often brought on fresh to lead in appealing or defending earlier judgments. Abraham has also acted as an independent court-appointed amicus curiae in appeals before the Court of Final Appeal and Court of Appeal, and as counsel for the Secretary of Justice intervening in the public interest.
