Adrian is Director at Prolegis and Head of Projects for the Herbert Smith Freehills Prolegis Formal Law Alliance (FLA). Adrian is a specialist energy and infrastructure lawyer with particular experience in project development, international construction, project finance and M&A, Adrian provides a comprehensive and integrated advice on all aspects of infrastructure project development including acquisitions and disposals. He has extensive experience in Asia acting for sponsors, government authorities, lenders (both commercial and multilateral/ECA), EPC contractors, feedstock and utilities suppliers and potential offtakers and O&M service providers across the entire energy and infrastructure value chain. Adrian works closely with Herbert Smith Freehills’ Energy and Infrastructure teams and has particular in-depth understanding and practical experience across Asia, having supported clients on projects in Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Mongolia.

Daniel is the Managing Director of Prolegis LLC. Daniel is a first-in-class trial and appellate litigation counsel in complex corporate and commercial matters. Daniel is experienced in complex litigation and dispute problems across a wide range of sectors spanning private equity, funds, financial institutions, construction, white-collar, financial crime and securities regulation. He has developed a niche expertise enforcing and/or challenging arbitral awards. He regularly appears in the Singapore Courts – including its final appellate court and in arbitration proceedings under the SIAC and ICC rules. Jonathan is Head of Restructuring and Insolvency, he advises on restructurings, workouts, and corporate insolvency. He also regularly advises and represents insolvency professionals, debtor companies, and creditors in court-supervised restructuring proceedings before the Singapore High Court. Jonathan has significant experience in orders for moratoria, scheme of arrangement and super-priority rescue financing for both local and foreign companies under Singapore’s restructuring laws.

Chee Hian is the Head of Financial Services Regulatory at Prolegis. Chee Hian advises financial institutions on contentious and non-contentious matters across a range of legal, regulatory and compliance issues. He advises financial institution clients across a broad range of issues, such as licensing applications, structuring of regulated business, business conduct rules, product offering rules and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing compliance. He has also assisted financial institutions with internal investigations and regulatory enquiries of senior employee misconduct, breaches of anti-money laundering regulations, and failures to comply with ongoing business conduct requirements. In particular, Chee Hian has extensive experience advising clients on Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) licence applications, such as licences for capital markets services, financial advisers and major payment institutions (including applications to provide digital payment token services). Chee Hian also works closely with industry bodies such as Asia Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (ASIFMA) and Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) on financial services reform and developments. He has also spent some time on secondment with an international bank in Singapore, and assisted the bank with its regulatory requirement to locally incorporate its Singapore retail operations.
