As a Partner of Kwon & Co., Suyeon Jung has assisted Tae Il Kwon in most of the prominent cases at Kwon & Co. and has received good outcomes.

Having lived in the United States for 4 years, she has excellent command of English which is very helpful in providing legal opinions to foreign clients of Kwon & Co. which comprises about 80% of Kwon & Co.’s work.

Suyeon Jung has been especially accumulating huge volume of experience in various issues on the crew cases concerning Korean Seafarers’ Act. She has also dealt with numerous vessel arrest cases in Korea and cargo defense claims.

She has received LL.M degree specializing in International Shipping at Queen Mary University of London with merits in the UK and became qualified in Illinois Bar in the United States.

Suyeon Jung received her LLM International Shipping  Law degree (with Merits) in 2022 at Queen Mary University of London,  UK, broadening her knowledge in English maritime law and English marine insurance law to build up her expertise.

Suyeon graduated from Yonsei Law School (J.D.) in 2014 and she majored in International Relations (minor in Law) in Seoul National University in 2009 where she received Bachelor's degree.
