Charles Boyne

Position

   Charles has a wealth of experience in disputes relating to finance and insolvency and has represented financial institutions, corporate clients and insolvency practitioners.  He has acted for an international property developer involving a high profile shareholder dispute regarding the ownership of a Premier League football club. Charles was instructed by the Insolvency Service in relation to progressing director disqualification proceedings and public interest winding up petitions and advised on the first compensation order application under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986. He provides advice to insolvency practitioners helping them to recover and realise assets of the insolvent company or the bankrupt for their creditors.  Charles acts for a number of banking institutions assisting them with enforcing security against corporates and individuals.  Charles represents clients faced with the threat of insolvency and has experience in making applications to restrain the presentation of winding up petitions, setting aside statutory demands and preparing applications for injunctive relief.
