Lewis joined Weightmans in 2010 and began his costs career in 2011.

Lewis has experience in all areas of costs claims and has a varied caseload of paying party, recovery, and costs budgeting work.

Also, Lewis works directly with insurer clients for industrial Disease claims. This work involves providing internal and external training, drafting quarterly reports, preparing for, and attending client audits.

More recently, Lewis has been part of a Fixed Recoverable Costs Project. The team involved in this have provided training in relation to the Fixed Costs reforms and Lewis was part of drafting the Whitepaper document following the roundtable event hosted by Weightmans. Also, Lewis has drafted an article which focuses on the costs implications that defendants will face when settling NIHL claims at different stages of the claim.
