Julia is a Partner in the Healthcare team and regularly advises many public and private sector healthcare providers on a wide range of medico legal, contentious and regulatory matters. She has a particular interest in mental health and aftercare and is instructed on behalf of providers in cases involving mental capacity and treatment issues in the Court of Protection.

As an experienced advocate, Julia regularly undertakes advocacy at inquests on behalf of health and care providers and has also advised and represented clients in relation to CQC proceedings, HSE prosecutions, police investigations, Local Authority/CCG funding disputes and judicial review. Julia has experience of group action litigation.

Trained at RadcliffesLeBrasseur. Regularly presents seminars on a wide range of healthcare matters.

Julia is a member of Headway, the Spinal Injuries Association and the Immigration Law Practitioners Association.
