Jemil is a technically skilled corporate lawyer who provides advice to clients on an array of corporate matters such as acquisitions, mergers and disposals, joint ventures, private equity investment, fundraisings (both in relation to public and private companies) as well as advising on general company law including corporate governance, compliance and shareholder agreements.
Jemil has experience of advising companies and shareholders throughout the complete life-cycle of a corporate’s existence from incorporation, fundraisings (whether from venture capital funds, high net worths, private equity houses and/or the public markets), growth via acquisitions, joint ventures and mergers and exits in the form of disposals, demergers and listings on the stock market. He also has particular expertise in cross-border transactions and equity capital markets transactions.
Jemil has the commercial acumen and confidence to provide tangible advice to clients with an emphasis on ‘getting the deal done’ which goes beyond merely providing legal advice and is often viewed as a trusted adviser to his clients. He understands the importance of service delivery to his clients and ensures that he understands the needs of the client and their business in order to achieve their desired outcome.
