Robin is a partner in the media litigation team with over 30 years’ experience advising the some of the most wellknown UK publications.

“I’ve had extensive experience of media litigation over many years, dealing with disputes involving publishing, film & tv financing and production, and the music industry. I’ve also conducted litigation involving contractual and corporate disputes and professional negligence.

In recent years my practice has primarily been in acting for publishers including newspapers, magazines and book publishers, particularly in the areas of defamation, privacy/breach of confidence, data protection and contempt of court, and I also give pre-publication advice in these areas. I’ve represented book publishers including Penguin Books and Harper Collins, and have acted for many national newspapers. I currently act for the Telegraph titles and the Guardian, and have been Private Eye’s lawyer for over twenty years, handling its pre-publication work and its claims.”
