Stuart joined DJB in 2022 as a Partner specialising in Construction, with 26 years’ experience in both transactional and litigation matters.  Stuart was formerly a Partner at Edwin Coe LLP, Candey LLP, Pinsent Masons and a Senior Associate at Freshfields. 

Stuart is a dual qualified, US and UK, and specialises in areas such as construction law, property development and dispute resolution.  Stuart’s experience below highlights that he frequently has dealings with cross-border construction disputes and acts for US companies to carry out work in Europe and the Middle East in both the construction and energy sectors.

Stuart is a member of the Drafting Committee of the Society of the Construction Law responsible for producing the Protocol for the determination of Claims for Extensions of Time and Compensation for Delay and Disruption.
