Qualified 2009; joined Blackadders in 2015 as an Associate in the Family Law Team. Joanne has practised Family Law almost exclusively throughout her career and advises on a wide variety of Family Law matters including financial provision upon divorce, cohabitee claims, cohabitation agreements, pre and post-nuptial agreements and issues involving children relating to parental responsibilities and rights, residence, contact and adoption. She regularly appears in the Sheriff Court and has also acted as the instructing solicitor in cases brought at the Court of Session. Accredited as a Specialist in Family Law, Child Law and as a Family Law Mediator. Trained as a Collaborative Family Lawyer.
