Career

Rebecca joined the Wilson’s Public Law team in 2014 and qualified as a solicitor in July 2018. She is also IAAS level 2 accredited in Immigration and Asylum work.

Rebecca regularly acts for vulnerable clients and has a wide range of experience in community care, immigration and civil claims. Her particular interest lies in assisting homeless families under s17 Children Act 1989, representing clients in relation to their asylum claims and challenging ongoing immigration detention.

Whilst at university, Rebecca volunteered at a safe house for victims of sex trafficking and at an asylum law centre. She currently volunteers with Hackney Pirates.

Rebecca studied BA International Relations and Politics at the University of Sheffield before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2013. She completed the Legal Practice Course in 2017 and was awarded a Distinction.
