Career

Amanda has focused on art law from the beginning of her legal career, advising on many groundbreaking developments that are changing the landscape of the art market. Her work includes dealing with purchases, sales, loans, consignments and charitable giving of works of art. She also has experience representing borrowers in lending transactions with fine art as collateral and high net worth individuals and their families on tax, trust and estate planning matters, as well as the commercial art transactions associated with such planning.

Her alma mater, St. John's University School of Law, has recognized Amanda as a Next Generation Lawyer for her work in the art law field, in the Spring 2018 edition of its alumni magazine, _St. John's Law Global Edition_. Amanda has also been active as both an author and commentator, featured in publications such as _Bloomberg BNA_; _Deloitte Art & Finance Report_; _Artnet News_; _Artsy_; _Trusts & Estates_, _the ABA's Real Property_, _Trust and Estate Law Journal_; and the _New York State Bar Association Arts and Sports Law Journal_. In addition, Amanda serves as the Secretary of the New York City Bar Association's Art Law Committee.
