Andrew joined the family team at Lupton Fawcett as a Partner in June 2019. Prior to this he was an Associate Solicitor in Leeds for 8 years following his qualification in the North Lincolnshire area in 2007.

Andrew is a member of the Law Society’s Family Law panel and specialises in the financial implications of relationship breakdown including divorce, separation of cohabitees, same sex families and the dissolution of civil partnerships. He is also an expert in private children matters regarding child arrangements orders, removal of children from the jurisdiction and Schedule 1 Children Act applications.

Andrew is an active member of Resolution and sits on the committee of North and West Yorkshire Resolution. He has featured on BBC Radio Leeds and regularly produces articles for blogs and publications such as the Family Law Journal.

Andrew is praised for his calm, unflappable approach and his easy nature with clients. He is named as an Associate of Note in the 2018/19 edition of the Legal 500.
