Richard Buono qualified as a Solicitor in 2001 and joined Blacks Solicitors in 2006, where he is currently a Partner in the Corporate team.

Richard regularly deals with corporate acquisitions, disposals, restructures, and the preparation of shareholders’ agreements and general commercial documents for owner-managed businesses (OMBs).

Examples of Richard’s work include: acting for the owners of a construction company in the sale of their business to a PLC for £9m; handling a £7.1m management buyout; acting in the purchase of a hotel for £5m; and dealing with the sale of shares in a renewable energy business for £3.75m.

In addition, Richard is Head of Blacks’ specialist Healthcare team where he acts for a large number of GP practices, advising them on partnership matters, joint ventures and other collaborative arrangements. He also acts for dentists and pharmacists, particularly in respect of business acquisitions and disposals.
