Career

Ian qualified as a Solicitor in 1994, and joined Blacks in 2016. Ian is a Partner and Head of Blacks’ Residential Property team.

Ian has extensive Residential and Commercial Property experience, acting for retail and residential developers.

His focus is now on leading Blacks Residential Conveyancing teams’ drive to become nationally recognised experts in residential buy to let and bridging work, acting for both specialist Lenders and Landlords.

Ian has also acted for a wide range of clients from owner occupiers, to local, regional, and FTSE 100 listed developers and housebuilders.

He believes in giving common sense, no nonsense advice and works to conclude deals as simply and as quickly as possible whilst delivering added value to his clients.
