Marcus Kaye joined Blacks Solicitors in 2017, having qualified in April 2016, and was promoted to Partner in 2024.

Prior to starting his legal career Marcus attended Leeds Grammar School and obtained a degree in Law and Accountancy from the University of Manchester.

He advises on a variety of Real Estate matters including landlord and tenant work, sales and purchases, development matters and has particular expertise of dealing with mixed use sites.

Marcus is a key component of the Real Estate Finance team and has experience in acting for high street lenders, private lending institutions and borrowers in both bridging and development finance transactions.

Marcus acts for both developer and investor clients and advises on all aspects of the transaction. He has a detailed understanding of both institutional leases and the commercial approaches.
