Career
Annie Beaumont joined Blacks Solicitors 2016 and is a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Private Wealth & Succession team.
Before joining Blacks as a paralegal, Annie completed her Masters in Law at Northumbria University. She successfully completing her Training Contract with the Firm and qualified as a Solicitor in 2020.
Annie has extensive experience in numerous areas of Wills and probate work including the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs); probate work; Trusts; and probate conveyancing throughout the Administration of an Estate.
Annie also deals with Deputyship Applications to the Court of Protection and works with attorneys in relation to the ongoing management of people’s finances, property and decisions regarding their care.
Further to her professional work, Annie is a Dementia Friends Champion and works alongside other organisations to help build a Dementia Friendly environment within Leeds. Annie has also completed her level 2 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness.
During her Training Contract, Annie was awarded Trainee Solicitor of the Year at the Yorkshire Legal Awards 2019.
Since joining Blacks, Annie has chaired the CSR team helping to raise awareness and funds for our chosen Charity of the Year.
She is also an Accredited Mediator and has experience in Clinical Negligence Litigation.
Alongside work, Annie is a volunteer and Trustee for Simon on the Streets, a homeless charity based in Leeds, Kirkless and Bradford.
