Career

Joining Gadsby Wicks in 2001, Tami has over 20 years of specialist experience in medical negligence law.

Qualifying as a solicitor in 1994, Tami trained at top law firm Mayer Brown (then Rowe & Maw) before career stints at Woodfines Solicitors, Grays CAB and Gepp Solicitors. Throughout this time, her long-term interests in medicine and forensics guided her to specialise in medical negligence law.

Named a partner at Gadsby Wicks in 2009, Tami manages a full and varied caseload of clinical negligence claims. At all stages she constantly assesses the chances of success and the next steps ahead, taking a methodical and detail-oriented approach without ever losing sight of the big picture.

Tami’s passion for medical negligence stems from a desire to protect claimants’ rights and securing compensation that changes their lives for the better. She also appreciates her role in making meaningful, positive changes to the way hospitals and GPs operate, and enjoys working on behalf of secondary victims to pursue the recompense they deserve.

Memberships

Tami is a Senior Litigator and Accredited Clinical Negligence Specialist with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme.

Education

Tami achieved her LLB (Hons) at the University College London in 1990, and qualified as a solicitor in 1994.
