Family, Divorce and Relationships.

I joined Birkett Long as a trainee solicitor in September 2008 and qualified as a solictor in 2010.

I wanted to be a lawyer from a young age and dedicated my studies at college and university to achieving this ambition. Family law was always an area I hoped to specialise in; it allows me to help those experiencing difficulties or trauma in their lives and in doing so it provides a sense of purpose. I love that no one day is ever the same.

I assist clients with a full range of issues involving divorce and family law. I specialise in ending a relationship, children and family law. I am the team leader of the South Essex Divorce and Family team, and have responsibility for the supervision of the other lawyers in the team..

I am a member of Resolution, a national organisation of family lawyers committed to non-confrontational divorce, separation and other family problems. I am also an accredited member of the Law Society's Family Panel. This is an assessed accreditation scheme which recognises those with Family Law expertise and experience.

I studied Law at the University of Kent in Canterbury (2004-2007) where I was awarded an LLB (Hons). I then attended Law School at the College of Law, Bloomsbury, London (2007-2008) where I achieved a Distinction.
