Career
Andrew joined the American law firm Howrey Simon Arnold & White to complete his two-year training contract, qualifying as a solicitor in 2004. Whilst at Howreys Andrew went on secondment to Dale and Newbury in West London to do his private client seat and remained at Dale and Newbury after he qualified. Since then Andrew has worked as an associate, senior associate and then partner in both regional multi-office and niche practices.
Andrew joined Pinney Talfourd in December 2022 as a senior associate. Andrew leads his own team and also supervises other lawyers across our offices.
Andrew has significant experience in private client work and this includes will drafting, inheritance tax planning, trusts, administering estates and Court of Protection work. He regularly acts as an administrator, trustee, attorney and financial affairs deputy.
Some of Andrew’s cases have been high profile and received national press coverage and he receives referrals from various charities, financial advisers and other law firms. Andrew has particular skill in dealing with complex matters where understanding the key issues is vital, trust needs to be established, and managing the interactions between all parties needs particular empathy and understanding.
