Following the birth of her two children Rajinder worked for a number of firms in North Kent for over two decades. She then decided to commute back into London and worked for a Legal 500 firm where she practised as a Contentious Probate lawyer for over four years.

Rajinder joined Pinney Talfourd as a Senior Associate in the Contentious Wills and Probate department in 2024 where she has support from trainee solicitors and other support staff.

Rajinder is also an independently accredited Civil and Commercial mediator, Workplace Disputes mediator and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators. She also holds memberships with the Civil Mediation Council and the Standards and Competencies in Mediation Advocacy (SCMA). This multifaceted approach allows her to effectively resolve legal disputes, adhering to the court’s principle that “litigation is a last resort.”

Rajinder has been an Executive member of the Dispute Resolution Advisory Committee at the Law Society for over eight years where she stays at the cutting edge of legal developments. In this role, she assists in organizing events, webinars, and conferences, together with contributing insightful articles that aid fellow practitioners in the evolving landscape of disputes.

Education

Rajinder studied her law degree at the University of East London, and subsequently studied the Legal Practice Course at London Guildhall University. She then travelled the US before joining Daybells solicitors where she trained and qualified as a lawyer remaining there for six years.
