Based in Edinburgh, Trevor is triple-qualified as a solicitor in Scotland, England & Wales, and Canada. He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).

With over 16 years’ experience both in-house and in private practice, Trevor provides commercial, legal, and privacy compliance advice to clients in Europe, Canada, and Africa.

As both a business adviser and a lawyer, Trevor has a keen practical understanding of small and medium-sized businesses: two terms as a non-executive director with Modo (Vancouver’s car-sharing cooperative), almost five years as head of legal at a rapidly-growing Scottish multinational, and almost five more building his own Scottish legal practice before joining Shakespeare Martineau.
