Position

Career

Josie has specialised in clinical negligence for 20 years, bringing claims against the NHS and private practice, in all areas of health care, including claims for delayed and misdiagnosis, obstetric and surgical negligence and psychiatric care. She represents families at inquests, following the death of a loved one, providing advice and pursuing claims where the death was avoidable.

She has developed a niche area of expertise in representing pelvic mesh injured clients, representing women whose lives have been devastated by chronic pain and loss.

In addition, she has brought claims for families who have lost loved ones, who have taken their own lives, failed by catastrophic failings in the psychiatric care and management of vulnerable individuals, including a seven figure settlement for a family who lost their father and husband.

Josie is a dual-qualified solicitor and physiotherapist and draws on her medical knowledge and clinical experience in her work. She has a natural empathy and compassion, providing her clients with a hand in hand experience through the litigation process, ensuring that her client’s questions are answered and that they are fully compensated for their losses.
