Position
Jon is a Legal Director in the Parisi Tax team.
He specialises in the taxation of companies and their shareholders, and property tax matters.
In his career, Jon has handled corporate transactions ranging from acting for PLCs on £250m+ sales and purchases to advising individuals and management teams on sales and buyouts. He is highly experienced in private equity transactions and company reorganisations, and also advises on share incentives, fundraisings and demergers.
On property taxation matters Jon has a particular focus on SDLT and VAT, and has advised on complex student accommodation and care home sector projects. His practice covers the full range of investment and development work and property SPV transactions.
He also advises regularly on employment tax matters.
Career
Trained at Pinsent Masons LLP, qualified 2005. Solicitor, then Associate (2009), Senior Associate (2011) and Legal Director (2015) in the non-contentious tax team at Pinsent Masons. Joined Parisi Tax LLP as Legal Director 2017.
