Lorna Trueman is an experienced contentious probate and commercial dispute resolution lawyer.

In her contentious probate practice Lorna supports clients in dealing with a range of matters including, but not limited to, 1975 Act claims, proprietary estoppel claims, invalid will claims, trust disputes and probate fraud claims.

She has specialised in contentious probate for many years and became a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) in 2017. ACTAPS provides a forum for contentious probate specialists, promoting the enhancement of specific skills, specialisations and expertise in contentious probate. Lawyers must demonstrate considerable expertise and knowledge of the law and practice to be permitted entry as a member.

In addition to her contentious probate practice Lorna has almost 20 years of experience in dealing with heavyweight, high value and complex commercial dispute resolution cases. This type of work forms a large part of Lorna's practice, and she regularly assists her clients in dealing with contract disputes, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, professional negligence, agency disputes and property related disputes.

Her commercial clients range from FTSE100 companies and large corporations to owner managed businesses.

Lorna is a highly experience solicitor known for her commercial, practical, and proactive approach. She is a skilled litigator and negotiator, she will understand a client's requirements from the outset and work hard to achieve those objectives as effectively as possible.
