Chris has a commercial approach, business understanding and common-sense attitude in addressing client needs, with a wide experience of tackling B2B and B2C business issues. He started his career as a shipping lawyer, and still provides support to businesses in the offshore industry, and businesses in construction, engineering and infrastructure to this day. Chris has over 20 years' experience acting for businesses and insurers in the world of construction.

From Civil (Infrastructure to landfill) to Fit out, Chris has in-depth experience of procurement, contract analysis and drafting (JCT/NEC/ICE/FIDIC), consultant appointments, warranties, bonds and other arrangements. He also advises on a wide range of dispute resolution issues in large value and complex litigation matters, by mediation, adjudication, TCC to Arbitration (including international Arbitration), as well as employee issues and insolvency.
