Position
Jay is a practising barrister representing clients in both the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts at Lloyds PR Solicitors who is additionally allowed to undertake litigation. He is also a police station representative and a qualified duty solicitor who leads our Hertfordshire office.
Career
Jay joined Lloyds PR Solicitors in 2011. He is a practising barrister at Lloyds PR Solicitors who undertakes litigation. He is also a police station representative and a qualified duty solicitor who leads our Hertfordshire office.
In his capacity as an accredited police station representative, Jay has represented clients at the police station for all offences, ranging from driving offences to allegations of rape and murder.
Jay’s main role at Lloyds PR Solicitors however, is as a barrister, representing clients in both the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts. As an advocate, Jay has represented defendants in a whole range of cases at Court, including offences of murder, conspiracies, money laundering, and offences of a violent or sexual nature. He has also assisted some of the country’s top criminal defence Kings Counsel in preparing and presenting murder trials.
Jay has a breadth of experience in dealing with serious and complex criminal cases from the very beginning in the police station up to and including as the advocate at Crown Court trial.
As an advocate and litigator, Jay understands the importance of mobile phone evidence, forensic evidence, analysing accounts and other areas of expertise. He is used to working alongside experts from all fields, including Kings Counsel, road collision experts, phone and phone data/ download experts and scientists from all fields.
