Annie represents parents, relatives (grandparents, siblings, intervenors etc.) and children alike covering a range of public and private law matters. Annie represents children either directly, where they are deemed competent to provide instructions or through their Court appointed Guardian.

Annie often represents clients from diverse socio-economic and multi-cultural backgrounds; this has included asylum seekers and victims of modern-day slavery.

Annie is experienced with cases concerning allegations of emotional, physical, sexual and psychological harm including complex non-accidental injury, deprivation of liberty, chronic long-term neglect, drug and alcohol abuse.  Annie has represented parents and children in protracted child arrangements matters involving fact finding hearings, relocation and contact disputes. Many of her clients are highly vulnerable, some have learning needs or disabilities, and others lack litigation capacity entirely and require the involvement of the Official Solicitor.

Annie is regarded for picking up cases which require urgent representation often with little notice and grasping fast travelling facts to mobilise robust legal representation in some of the most stressful and distressing circumstances for clients; she can think on her feet in a crisis.

As a Solicitor – Advocate, Annie conducts most of her own advocacy.
