Head of Ascot team, Director, Solicitor and Mediator

Amanda is head of our Ascot team and is a Director, Family Solicitor and Mediator. She advises on all aspects of family law and can assist both married and unmarried families going through relationship breakdown. Amanda’s priority is minimising the emotional and financial cost of relationship breakdown for her clients and their families.

Amanda is a Resolution Accredited Specialist, which required her to demonstrate her thorough knowledge of family law and high levels of skill and expertise in relation to the resolution of complex financial disputes on divorce and separation.

As well as being a lawyer Amanda is an accredited family mediator and an advocate for all forms of alternative dispute resolution. Her priority is to ensure her clients are using the right form of dispute resolution to allow them to identify and resolve the issues they need to address and decisions which need to be made rather than engage in rounds of endless, unhelpful correspondence.

Amanda has particular expertise in resolving mid to high-value financial disputes on divorces involving complex issues such as fraud, overseas assets, business assets and interveners. She also advises on prenuptial agreements, applications to vary maintenance, disputes regarding the arrangements for children and disputes between unmarried partners going through separation.

Amanda undertook her training contract and qualified as a Solicitor at a boutique Surrey firm. Since then Amanda has chosen to specialise exclusively in family law, working for firms in Surrey and Berkshire throughout her career. Amanda studied Law at the University of Kent before going on to study for her Legal Practice Certificate in London, where she was awarded a commendation.

Amanda is a keen runner and currently has a goal to run the six world marathon majors. She combines this with her love of travel and seeing the world one city at a time by running around it!
