Megan was called to the Bar in 2016 and has a burgeoning practice in both tax disputes and advisory for High Net Worth Individuals. She has particular experience in direct tax cases and group litigation. She has represented clients at multiple levels of the UK courts and tax tribunals, including hearings before the Supreme Court challenging the lawfulness of UK corporate tax charges.  Her work advising on HMRC enquiries and appeals against HMRC decisions recently culminated in a successful settlement for one High Net Worth Individual in a matter worth approximately £45million.

Megan also spearheaded the preparation and collation of evidence in proceedings which culminated in HMRC withdrawing their case less than three days into a two-week trial, following a summary of the evidence presented in opening submissions.

Additionally, Megan assisted in the editing and compilation of 'The Tax Disputes & Litigation Review' (8th edition).
