Career
Rachel Knight heads up the Immigration and Human Rights department having years of experience in this field.
Rachel is vastly experienced in all aspects of immigration law. She has received the highest accreditation from the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner. Rachel has developed a reputation as a formidable advocate within the Immigration and Asylum Tribunals.
Her ambitions have always been to protect the rights and freedoms of ordinary and/or vulnerable people. Accordingly she went on to provide advice and support to victims of domestic violence, homeless persons and the local migrant community.
Rachel has served as a local District Councillor and as Deputy Mayoress of High Wycombe. She is well known within the community for supporting local charities. She has delivered immigration law seminars to many universities and publishes regular comment on immigration and human rights law updates.
To date, Rachel has never lost an immigration bail application.
Memberships
Rachel maintains membership of the Immigration Law Practitioners Association and the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants. She speaks conversational Punjabi and is a keen reader.
Education
Rachel achieved a first class law degree during her academics, and was awarded ‘Most Outstanding Law Student’ by the Prolinx Group. Published articles include her contribution concerning the rights of children to the International Family Law Journal (page 13 onwards).
