Partner specialising in corporate and finance transactions primarily, with a particular interest in financial services and indirect real estate matters.  Advises regularly on private and public mergers, acquisitions and takeovers, group re-organisations, and on finance raisings for both lenders and borrowers (with particular experience in real estate finance matters).  Has a considerable amount of experience advising on international or cross-border transactions, including acting as deal counsel on primarily non-UK matters.  Also advises on commercial contracts and partnerships – especially those in the financial services area where significant amounts of VAT can be at stake.
