Position

Eraldo is a partner and solicitor advocate with over 15 years’ experience in dispute resolution. His main area of focus is international commercial arbitration.

Career

Prior to joining HK, Eraldo was at the London office of Clifford Chance and had spent time on secondment in their Madrid office. He also has in-house experience having been on secondment to General Electric and Barclays.

Eraldo has acted on LCIA, ICC, SIAC and ad hoc arbitrations seated in all major centres, including London, New York, Paris, Singapore and Geneva. He has also worked on some of the largest cases in the Technology and Construction Court.

Eraldo has experience with a broad range of matters and industries, but is particularly focused on financial and private equity disputes, as well the tech and energy sectors. He regularly acts for and against banks and financial institutions, global corporates and funds.

Eraldo was shortlisted by Chambers and Partners for the Future Leader: LGBT+ Lawyer of the Year award at the European Diversity & Inclusion Awards. He also featured on the Financial Times and Yahoo Finance lists of top Global Future LGBT+ Leaders. He has been featured in the Guardian and BBC News (among others), most notably for his pro bono work challenging the UK Government’s refusal to issue passports without a binary ���male”/”female” categorisation.

Fluent in English, Italian and Spanish. Intermediate proficiency in French.

2021: International Investment Law and Dispute Resolution Certificate – British Institute of International and Comparative Law. 2013: Qualified as Solicitor Advocate. 2007: Legal Practice Course – The College of Law of England and Wales. 2006: LLB (Hons) in Law with Italian Law – University College London (including a year at the University of Florence).
