I represented a client in his 70’s who suffered a bowel perforation during cancer surgery. In addition to an elongated recovery time, he suffered a permanent colostomy and hernia. The hospital trust admitted that surgery had been performed below a reasonable standard and a six-figure compensation sum was agreed.

Currently I’m working for a number of clients who have suffered adverse consequences as a result of a delay in the diagnosis of cancer. In one case, the delay was due to an administrative error and as a result the claimant died before he should have done. The case was hard fought, but eventually his family were awarded a six-figure damages settlement.
