Career

I secured damages of £4.9m for a client who had complete thoracic and incomplete cervical level spinal cord injuries, and £4.77m for a client who had a severe traumatic brain injury, neuropsychiatric sequelae and brachial plexus injury. This settlement needed to be approved by the Court owing to my client lacking capacity.

In another case I represented a client with a severe brain injury and a significantly reduced life expectancy, securing compensation of £4.5m despite issues in the case around the insolvency of a foreign insurer and post-Brexit arrangements.

Other seven-figure settlements have included £4m for a client in their late 50s with central cord compression, £2m for a client who suffered a below-the-knee amputation and £2m for two clients with brachial plexus injuries, which did not lead to significant care needs.

In recent years I have managed a smaller caseload of cases which have values of seven to eight figures. This allows me to dedicate my time to a small number of very badly injured clients to achieve the best for them.
