Career

Nicola is a Solicitor-Advocate and is the Area Manager for the Magistrates Court team in the South West (Bristol, Gloucester and Wiltshire), with overall responsibility for the supervision and management of our teams across these areas.  She is a duty solicitor and has a wealth of experience advising and assisting clients at the Police Station, and representing and defending clients at the Magistrates Court.  She has also attained her Higher Rights accreditation, enabling her to conduct advocacy in the Crown Court.

With a particular reputation for her persuasive advocacy skills, Nicola is sought out by clients charged with a range of offences, and routinely represents those facing allegations of fraud, possession or cultivation of drugs, possession with intent to supply, drug conspiracies, sexual offences, public order offences, motoring offences including excess alcohol, burglary, criminal damage, and arson in the Magistrates Court.

Nicola’s knowledge of criminal law is outstanding, as is her attention to detail in the careful preparation of each one of her cases. She is an open minded and approachable solicitor who is dedicated to her client’s cases and their well-being and has therefore quickly amassed, retained and developed a significant and loyal client base in the Bristol area, frequently going above and beyond what is required to help them in securing good results.
