Reeds Solicitors Promotes Three to Partnership
Leading national law firm Reeds Solicitors LLP has today announced the promotion of solicitors Beth Mantel, Scott Primmer, and Nathan Seymour-Hyde to the firm’s partnership bringing the total number of partners across all offices to 15.
Based in Manchester, Complex Crime partner Beth Mantel has a wealth of experience in advising clients in relation to conspiracies regarding drugs, robbery, murder, and serious violence; as well as drug importations, firearm offences; and high value fraud, money laundering, and confiscation proceedings.
Partner Scott Primmer is based in the firm’s Oxford office where he sits within the private client department. With a particular focus on serious sexual assault cases, Scott’s practice also sees him defend clients against a myriad of offences including drug offences, serious sexual offences, complex fraud and benefit fraud, offences against the person, slavery, manslaughter, and murder.
Head of the firm’s Fare Evasion department, partner Nathan Seymour-Hyde splits his time between the Oxford and City of London offices. Having built a notably niche practice in seeking out of court settlements in fare evasion cases, Nathan also regularly submits representations to both the Disclosure and Disbarring Service (DBS) and ACRO in order to prevent clients from being added to the Barred List or to erase arrest records from the Police National Computer (PNC), and represents clients who are under investigation by the police, pre-charge for a myriad of offences.
Commenting on the latest round of promotions, managing partner Jan Matthews comments:
“We are pleased to welcome Beth, Scott, and Nathan to the partnership.
These much-deserved promotions are not only testament to their hard work over the years, but also highlights our continued commitment to investing in our people and offices nationally. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for everyone at Reeds and we look forward to seeing where this journey takes us all.”
