Jennifer joined Brachers as a trainee solicitor in 2017 and qualified into the Dispute Resolution team in September 2019.

Jennifer specialises in all disputes and litigation concerning or connected to Wills, trusts, the estates of deceased persons and Court of Protection matters.

Disputes relating to the validity of a Will or a codicil

Claims for financial provision from an estate under the Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependants) Act 1975

Claims made for provision from an estate based on a lifetime promise

Disputes between beneficiaries and trustees/personal representatives (executors), including applications to remove trustees/personal representatives (executors)

Disputes between trustees/personal representatives/executors

Disputes between the beneficiaries of a trust or a Will

Disputes about the validity of transactions made during the lifetime of a person now deceased

How to deal with, or how to make requests for information and documents (including Wills)

Disputes about the meaning of a Will or trust document

Claims in negligence against professionals such as Will draftsmen or those administering an estate.

Trusts of Land Disputes and Claims brought under Section 14 of the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.

Contentious Court of Protection matters.
