Career

Trish specialises in commercial property and has acted for a wide range of clients, from start-up business to multi-national plcs and works with all types of clients, whether individuals or sole traders, partnerships or companies.

Trish trained in Birmingham and spent several years in the commercial property department of Martineau, covering a broad range of commercial property work.

Trish has experience in a variety of different types of work, including the acquisition and disposal of commercial land and buildings, as well as businesses, the taking and granting of both leases and licences, advising landlords, tenants and management companies, investigation and advice on title issues generally, Section 106 Agreements, promotion agreements and options.

Trish also has experience in advising banks and other lenders, as well as providing legal support to personal investors with Self-Invested Personal Pension Schemes (SIPPS), and also the SIPP Trustees themselves. She has worked in corporate support, covering the property aspects of company incorporations, acquisitions and disposals, including the drafting and negotiating of warranties, disclosure letters, property licences and other documentation, in addition to the investigation or deduction of title, as appropriate.

Trish has over 20 years’ experience in residential conveyancing.

Trish has completed an MA in Criminology and a PhD based upon research into the idea of consumerism within the police service and has given seminars and lectures in company law and land law.

When not at work, Trish’s personal interests include running, cycling, climbing and reading.
