Alan is a Senior Associate in Dispute Resolution. He has over 10 years’ experience in resolving litigious cases including property disputes, commercial contracts and professional negligence cases. He is well known for offering client’s advice at time of great pressure in a straightforward and concise manner that allows them to understand both the strength and weaknesses in their cases. He has developed a solid property background which allow him to offer both legal and practical advice to clients in order to try to resolve matters in the least intrusive manner when dealing with challenging neighbours.

Dave has considerable experience dealing with a variety of personal injury cases in the Court of Session and Sheriff Court. His caseload includes employer’s liability, public liability, clinical negligence, road traffic cases and accidents abroad. His regularly conducts his own advocacy in cases. He has experiencing acting on behalf of  pursuers and the defenders.  He regularly supervises and provides training to junior staff.

David McKinney

Aa a Partner in the personal injury department David has 25 years’ experience dealing with personal injury claims predominantly arising out of RTAs.   Acting for Pursuers, he has conducted in excess of 100 Proofs in Sheriff Courts across Scotland. Within the firm, David is our Client Relations Partner.

Laura Macdonald

Laura is a Senior Associate and is head of the firm’s employment team. She specialises exclusively in Employment and Discrimination Law, with a particular focus on contentious employment law She has extensive experience of advising on and successfully representing clients in numerous Tribunal Hearings throughout Scotland. Her cases involve unfair dismissal, constructive unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, breach of contract, assertion of a statutory right and employment status.

Pamela specialises in  employers liability cases, public liability cases, workplace stress cases, industrial disease cases, abuse cases and clinical negligence cases. She is fluent in British Sign Language. ciate
