Career

Niamh undertook her traineeship with MTB Solicitors in Belfast in 2013 and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2015. Following this, Niamh applied to be placed on the Role of Solicitors for England and Wales and began a position as a Personal Injury Solicitor at Bolt Burdon Kemp Solicitors in London in February 2016. In January 2018, Niamh began a role as a Solicitor in the Serious Injury Team at Fieldfisher where she dealt with high value, catastrophic injury claims. Niamh returned to Northern Ireland and joined Thompsons NI in January 2022 as a Solicitor dealing mainly with medical negligence claims and some high value personal injury claims.

Education

Niamh studied a BA Joint Honours Degree in English and Irish and Celtic Studies at Queen's University, Belfast, graduating in 2011. In 2013, Niamh graduated from Queen's University, Belfast, having undertaken a Masters in Legal Science. Thereafter, Niamh studied a Post-Graduate Diploma in Professional Legal Studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, graduating and qualifying as a Solicitor in 2015.
