Member, Serious Injury Lawyer

Career

Operating from Thompsons Solicitors’ Cardiff and Bristol offices, Lisa is a highly experienced serious injury lawyer who leads a team dealing with serious injury and clinical negligence cases across South Wales and the South West injured in a public place, including on the road and at work through no fault of their own.

Lisa has many years of experience assisting adults and children who have sustained catastrophic injuries and where compensation regularly amounts to £1m+ for their future care needs and to cover their financial losses.

In the past 12 months, Lisa has recovered over £35m in compensation for injured individuals. These injuries are often life-changing and have a massive impact on clients and their families. These injuries can include amputations and trauma to the brain and spine.

As an integral part of her role, Lisa has considerable experience in organising teams of specialists with a wide range of expertise who draw up detailed plans for rehabilitation for the injured. Importantly, Lisa ensures advance compensation payments are made as quickly as possible to provide initial funding for the rehabilitation and cover financial losses already incurred.

At Thompsons Solicitors, Lisa proudly notes that they exclusively represent claimants, with all firm members aligning their efforts towards the shared goal of delivering the highest quality service in pursuing claims against employers and insurers.

Lisa was shortlisted for 'Catastrophic Injury Lawyer of the Year' in Claims Media's 13th Personal Injury Awards.
