Alex has advised various media publishers and internet service providers in relation to claims brought in libel, privacy, data protection and breach of confidence, including:

  • Advising leading global internet companies on various cutting edge defamation, privacy and data protection matters, including the first “Right to Be Forgotten” claims to be determined at trial in the High Court.
  • Acting for a number of mainstream media entities, including representing a leading international broadcaster and online content provider on a breach of confidence claim following its reporting on information contained in a mass data leak.
