Sue qualified as a solicitor in 2005 after a successful career in the Metropolitan Police. She advises charities and other not for profit, voluntary and community organisations and social enterprises on all aspects of employment law including strategic issues involving TUPE and restructuring. She also provides practical day to day employment law advice on a wide range of issues from allegations of discrimination, disciplinary and grievance procedures through to drafting contracts and changing terms and conditions. Sue specialises in advice to independent schools which includes, in addition to her employment practice, advice on a variety of issues including salary sacrifice, withdrawal from the TPS, setting EDI strategy and safeguarding issues. She brings practical experience to her advice through her role as the safeguarding lead governor at an independent girls boarding school and Board member of the Association of Governing Bodies of Independent Schools.

Sue has experience of advising on severance packages and on senior executive service agreements. She also represents employers throughout the Employment Tribunal process.
