Alexander specialises in corporate law with a focus on cross-border public and private M&A transactions, schemes of arrangement, equity capital market deals involving IPOs both in London and New York and downstream private equity transactions acting for a number of the world’s leading private equity firms.
Alexander advises a wide range of international and local clients in various sectors but has particular experience in Technology and Web3, Natural Resources, Real Estate, Sport and Health Care sectors as well as providing Private Wealth and Family Office clients with structuring and investment advice.
He has worked on numerous transactions involving many FTSE 100 companies and advises on a number of high-profile transactions for many well-known corporates.
Alexander also co-leads the firm’s Technology and Web3 team in Jersey, assisting clients to navigate the legal and regulatory framework in Jersey.
Alexander joined Ogier in September 2014 having worked in the City of London as a corporate lawyer for a number of years.
He is a Jersey Advocate as well as a member of the Law Society of Jersey and a member of the Law Society of England and Wales.
Alex has been ranked as a Next Generation Partner and regular Rising Star in both IFLR 1000 and Legal 500.

Ogier supports clients undertaking the spectrum of capital markets transactions, advising on IPOs and private placements across the full range of offshore jurisdictions. Jointly leading the group are Bruce MacNeil, an expert in bond issuances and derivatives transactions, and Raulin Amy, whose practice includes listing advice and refinancing issues. Katrina Edge is noted for her work on structured finance deals, while Alexander Curry oversees London and New York IPOs as part of a broader transactional practice. Simon Felton departed the firm in June 2023.

Ogier is frequently called upon in relation to downstream private equity deals, cross-border transactions, and also for regulatory and competition advice. Practice head Matthew Shaxson operates a broad practice, advising on mergers in the financial sector, joint ventures and regulatory requirements, including AML measures. Raulin Amy handles transactions in a broad range of sectors, but is particularly well versed in real estate and natural resources, while Simon Dinning and Oliver Richardson are able to act on deals with Jersey and BVI elements. Richard Daggett is frequently instructed by private equity clients undertaking transactions, with Alexander Curry focusing on transactions in the tech and natural resources sectors.
